Keeping it Dog Friendly: Where to have fun with the pup in the OC

What is better than a day out and about around Orange County? Going out and about to places that are dog friendly! And no surprise, there are tons of dog friendly restaurants and hot spots near Baker Block.

 

Dog Friendly Restaurants

It can be difficult to find a place to dine along with the pup. Well at least until now.

PARK BENCH CAFE

First up is Park Bench Cafe over in Huntington Beach located on, you guessed it, a park. Not only is it dog friendly, but it also has a dog menu! That menu includes peanut butter snacks as well as their “Hot Diggity Dogs” that comes with cut up hot dogs. We highly suggest Park Bench Cafe for breakfast. In particular their banana nut pancakes. Do know that Park Bench is all outdoors so depending on the time of year, dress accordingly. Also, once you and your pup are done eating, walk it off in the park.

LAZY DOG RESTAURANT

12 miles away from your luxury apartment is Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar. While it may seem like a bit of a drive, take your pup during the day and get there in 15 minutes. What we love most about Lazy Dog is the dog friendly patio. On the puppy menu is a complimentary bowl of water, a grilled hamburger patty with brown rice, grilled chicken breast with brown rice, or just plain brown rice. As far as the menu for humans, they have a fantastic Thai Chicken dish. Also, you cannot go wrong with any of their burgers.

Dog Parks and Beaches
