Parents Day: How to Celebrate in Orange County

July 18th, 2018

Welcome back to another blog post everyone! We have already celebrated Mother’s and Father’s Day within the past few months. Now, in the month of July, we will be celebrating Parents Day. Whether it is close to Baker Block or outside of Costa Mesa, here are the best ways to have some family fun in Orange County.

Parents Day at Disneyland

First up, DISNEYLAND! We do not need to dive into what Disneyland is all about since we have all been. However, there are certain spectacles to take note of. For instance on Saturday, July 21st there is the Artists in Residence happening from 6 PM to 10 PM. This week they will be showcasing works by the artist, Steph Laberis. Also, this summer, the Pixar Pier is open. Walk along the boardwalk and see Pixar stories and characters come to life. Regardless of what you choose to do while visiting, this iconic theme park is a great place to have some family fun on Parents Day.

A Trip to the Park or the Beach

There are also some incredible parks near Baker Block. For instance, there is Crystal Cove State Park in Laguna Beach. Other favorites of ours are Orange County Great Park and Del Mesa Park. No matter which park you choose, grab a picnic basket and have a fun, frugal Parents Day. Also, you can never go wrong with a beach day for some family fun. Best of all, Baker Block is close to the best beaches in California. Our favorites are Huntington Beach as well as the Huntington Pier plus Newport Beach Harbor and Pier.

Whether it is a theme park, a park nearby, or the beach, there is no shortage of family fun in Orange County. Regardless of what you choose to do, have a wonderful Parents Day to all those who will be celebrating.
