Our first Easter Eggstravaganza is in Irvine at the Irvine Railroad Park. Fit for both children and adults, take a ride on the train and discover the historic Irvine Regional Park. Once you’ve finished your tour, head back to the train station. Here you will find seven different Easter egg hunts to participate in. Filled with candy or stickers, the Easter egg hunts at Irvine Railroad Park are perfect for children of any age. You can be sure that there will also be an Easter Bunny there to grab cute family photos with.

This eggciting event lasts until March 31st. During the weekdays, stop by from 10 AM to 4 PM, and 9 AM to 6 PM on the weekends. Best of all, the entrance is free for the holiday event. The park entrance fee is $7 and tickets to each event in the park are $5. Do know that these activities sell out quickly so be sure to arrive early.

Easter Event #2: Knott’s Berry Farm

No more than 30 minutes outside of Costa Mesa is the iconic Knott’s Berry Farm. Unlike the other holiday events mentioned in this post, Knott’s Berry Farm has two different holiday events to enjoy. First, there is Knott’s Boysenberry Festival. Being the birthplace of the boysenberry, each Spring Knott’s celebrates this delectable berry and the historic roots of it. The fun is endless at this festival for both kids and adults. There is a wine and craft brew tasting garden, an old-time melodrama show at the Bird Cage Theater, and tons of different boysenberry foods to try. The festival runs from March 16th to April 8th and tickets run from $43 to $79.

Lastly, on April 1st from 9 AM to 6 PM is their Easter brunch to celebrate the holiday the day of. Here you will enjoy an extravagant feast of turkey, ham, stuffing, and an array of desserts. Tickets range from $19 to $50. If you want to attend, be sure to reserve a table now.

Easter Event #3: Easter Egg Hunts

Along with these other spectacular events, there are tons of places nearby to enjoy egg hunts and pictures with a big bunny. Head on over to Fashion Island and enjoy a beautiful day out under the Atrium Lawn surrounded by beautiful floral arrangements. Also, attend the Sports Complex at Huntington Beach Central Park until March 31st for a day filled with game booths, pounds of candy, and more. Then there is our favorite. In Yorba Linda on 4601 Casa Loma Avenue is the Flashlight Egg Hunt where you can hunt for eggs and candy in the dark. Best believe you will need to bring a flashlight and your best running shoes. This event goes until March 30th and begins at 7:30 PM.

As you can see, there is definitely no shortage of Easter events in Costa Mesa. So hop on over to any of these events with family or friends and have an EGGcelent time!
